The field is bounded by pioneer stone fencing and lines of heritage maple trees. A substantial portion of the property is maple forest and was last logged in 1991. There is a section of Bedrock drift on the northeast portion of the property. There is a Wetlands designation under the MNRF and a related Conservation Land Tax Incentive Plan (CLTIP).
