"Norfolk County’s market showed greater resilience than other areas in July, with only three fewer sales than in the previous month, and a 3.2% decline compared to the same period last year,” said Bill Duce, CEO of Cornerstone. “While the number of new listings that came online in July was lower than the previous month, there was a 7.9% increase from July 2025. The months’ supply has climbed 29.0% year-over-year to 8.9 months, the highest level on record for Norfolk County. The MLS® Home Price Index declined 3.9% year-over-year, though the average sale price remains slightly above last year’s levels. Homes are selling more quickly than they were a year ago, suggesting that well-priced properties are attracting motivated buyers. Norfolk County continues to have its own distinct market, which is why working with a local REALTOR® who understands the area is the best way for buyers and sellers to navigate the evolving landscape.”
